In 1999 when TDL Electronics brought out the floor-standing Nucleus 3, Hi-Fi Magazine wrote “the more you listen to these speakers the more you appreciate them”. At £200 the price was attractive so I bought a pair and for three years listened mostly to jazz and classical music (their rich full sound easily filled my 15’ by 16’ living room) then, when I moved to a place which was too small for a “separates” hi-fi system, wrapped them up and put them into storage. I’m still there and with no plans to move it seems a waste to keep them. Finished in cherrywood and, except for one small scratch on the back of one, they are in perfect condition. Dimensions: 750 x 202 x 215mm (add 35mm to height with spikes). Weight: 9kg each. Amplifier requirements: 15-60 watts per channel. Frequency range: 40 Hz-20 kHz.
